Richland 2 decide on Google Chromebooks as their 1:1 solution
COLUMBIA, SC -- I have been collaborating with many public and independent schools who are about to take the leap to the cloud and get Chromebooks, from Google, as their 1:1 solution. Sandlapper Elementary 5th graders and teachers will get the opportunity to see how Chromebooks will impact their learning and teaching this January, as Richland 2 in Columbia, SC begins using Chromebooks within their Google Apps domain. I worked with Sandlapper's principal, Linda Hall, and their technology specialist to plan two days of specific Google Apps Classroom Integration sessions for the entire faculty and the use of Chromebooks in the classroom as a 1:1 initiative.
