Charleston Southern University: iPads and more

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC -- An opportunity to work at Charleston Southern University arose last week for me to teach and share with individuals charged with teaching prospective classroom teachers.  The main topic was mobile learning and how iPads could be used for teachers K-12.  I applaud the school and the professors for pursuing the possibilities that mobile learning present and will present themselves to our schools.  They want to be able to model and share with their students, future teachers, how to best utilize mobile learning, whether it is a 1:1 initiative or one iPad/tablet per classroom teacher.  I appreciate the rich discussions about learning and how to integrate mobile devices in the classroom as well as some brain/learning theory.
