Union County Public Schools

MONROE, NC -- Dr. David Kafitz, Executive Director of Technology Services for Union County Public Schools invited me to conduct professional development for the entire technology department on how to integrate and implement  Google Apps for Education.  UCPS plans to deploy Google Apps for Education this school year with students in the middle and high students using mail plus all other Google Apps and elementary students having Apps accounts for Sites, Docs, and Calendar.  Teachers will have access as well while continuing to use Moodle and their existing mail client.  Union County will be the largest public school district to use Google Apps with students in the state of North Carolina with 53 schools and over 40,000 students.
