iPads in the Middle School

BALTIMORE, MD -- Another opportunity at the Gilman School to build on our previous professional development on Google Apps.  The middle school has piloted an iPad program and has decided to make it a 1:1 effort for all middle school students and teachers, while the upper school is a device of choice.  I met with each department (Math, World Languages, Arts, English, etc) and collaborated with them on how to best utilize iPads in their classroom.  We looked at specific apps for their curriculum on top of the essential apps for presentations, screencasting, word processing, video/audio, and storytelling.  I modeled the workflow they would be using with Google Drive and other particular apps they will be using such as Notability.
